I began playing Moon River for my parents at parties when it was first released. All these years later Moon River is one of the most recorded songs in history. These improvisational recordings of Moon River took place over a six month period during which I "dove into Moon River" to see where it would take me. In Energy Medicine the music of Moon River is associated with the Water Element. This is an element that has to do with bonding, attachment, and flow. To much water has to do with over attachment, holding on, and drowning in ones sadness, etc. I wanted to explore why so many people record and listen to Moon River. It is a "Water Element" adventure where one just floats along. However, getting out of Moon River requires some Fire. Do not worry the Sun always comes up.
